Um hi I'm new here so yeah :)

Well I was with my mum driving to her friends/hairdressers house, when I happened to notice something in the sky. At first, I thought it was a plane but as I kept looking, I noticed It wasn't moving, then i thought it was something on the windscreen but it wasn't. It just sat there, a black-ish grey-ish object in the sky. And just on the left of it a light faded on then off, the the same thing above it, the right, then the bottom then it kept repeating. I didn't take my eyes off it for a second. Then about a minute later, It zoomed quickly up, and I didn't see it again. I haven't told anyone, because I don't think anyone would believe me that I saw a UFO ..lol.. well if anyone seen something like this or wants to comment please do! I just really wanted to get it out before I exploded or something.
    :D

Do you have vague recollections of being taken aboard and probed? If so then yes it was a Ufo.

Where did you see it? Your friends/hairdressers house is a bit vague.

when? about 8 in the morning. No I wasn't taken aboard and probed, its seemed quite a fair distance away, it looked about half a centimeter wide.

I assume you mean if it were an object say, on the windshield, as opposed to literally being half a centimetre...?

Sounds interesting, suppose it could have been a chopper perhaps. How quickly did it seem to fly upwards?

Could have been a military aircraft as they tend to be a very dark grey to blend in with the night sky but with that said the hovering and zooming off fast dosn't sound like the characteristics of any military craft know to the public!

US stealth aircraft come in many shapes and sizes. Most are jet powered and can evidence rapid acceleration. Some have hover capabilities. Typically they have colouration as you described.

Thats what they'll have you believe.

Did this take place in Ireland, OP? If so, could just as likely be the Brits. They gave us the Harrier jump jet/hover jet. Plus, it could have been a helicopter. Depending on how the wind is blowing, you might not have heard it.

The OP said it was in OZ.

It could have been a rod too. When sky show pictures of Iraq in the greeny infra-red you can see balls of light hover .
