    Hi,
Just wondering if Dublin Bus rambler tickets are valid for travel on AirLink busses, I've checked the back of the ticket and it doesn't say "Not for use on AirLink".

One of the busses passes my stop (v near airport) earlier than my bus and if I needed to be in work early then I could hop on that...

Yes the rambler tickets are valid on the 747/748 Airlink services.

They only pick-up/set down at the designated stops however, AFAIR in the Airport they only drop-off at the terminal and pick-up at the terminal and beside the 24hr petrol station.

i'm sure i've used them as well, although, maybe going very slightly of subject, when landing at dublin, have noticed you can buy a ticket for either the airport bus, or for the rambler ticket, have noticed not much advertising to say that the rambler ticket is valid on the aiport bus,

very handy and a saving if you are making a few bus journeys, or if only in the city for a few days

There is advertising on the top deck of most Airlink buses in multiple languages, not great for tourists who have already bought singles though.

As one-day ramblers cost the same as an Airlink single (€6) IMO they should stop selling the singles and issue only one-day tickets on-board, the loss of extra revenue would be minimal and it would be a good marketing tool that would encourage incoming tourists to use bus services while in the city. They ought to more actively sell tickets to passengers before they get on the bus at the Airport too.

It should also be noted that the pack of 5 one-day tickets are cheaper at €3.60 and along with the other range of tickets are available from the CIE desk and newsagent in the arrivals hall.
