The following service packs provide support for AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD LT 2007 on the Windows Vista operating system:

have a root around www.autodesk.com for 2005 and earlier

Right, I got AutoCad 2007 but its not working properly. It just shuts down every few minutes. I attached the message that comes up when it happens.

I really need to get this fixed quickly and Id appreciate it if anyone had any advice.

make sure it's patched to date
    check the autodesk website
    usual antimalware stuff
    contact the dealer

Also make sure to run it as Administrator, by either right clicking on the short cut and clicking run as administrator or by adjusting the shortcut and click security and clicking run as administrator.

Should not need to do that for 2007
that was just for earlier versions, if you couldn't be arsed to change a brazillion permissions in the reg and folders ( zero marks for autodesk on that one )

still needs to be installed as admin though

True 2005 and 2006 had all that..

Just a handy way to eliminate permissions as an issue really

Also is it time or activity that causes the crash.. such as opening the file menu, old drawings or is it always after x number of mins
