Ray Foley Show - Today FM

Does anyone else hate this with a passion? We have Today FM on in work and I quite like Ray Dracy and as it comes ot the end of the day find The Last Word easy listening to as well after a day of pretty much the same music from all DJ's.

However by far the worst part of the day is the Ray Foley show, to say it grates on my happiness is an understatement. Not only do they rip the a*** out of any joke going (like that one from pop idol "cus-cus", the 80's song from sopranos to name but a few), theres also the listeners who text in:

"Sorry I cant be in today but the dog ate my car"
"Sorry I cant be in today but Ive been sent back to November 5th 1955"

The only word to describe the participating listeners seems to be nerds. Why do they text in this garbage?

To show my fairness the bit at the end of the show is decent "things we didnt get through today" ("Im Harney where we view Mary Harneys election video where she sings Im Hraney to the Tune "Im Horny" being one that sticks in the mind). Maybe though its just the fact that the show is ending that Im in a better humour.

Has anyone here texted in "Sorry I cant be in today.." and if so why? and what did you put? Did you think it was funny?

its nothing too serious, only a bit of fun for your lunchtime!

i have to say i love the show and is my favourite of the day i have to say i have never text in prob because i am too lazy.

have never texted in bit its encouraged by the show and just a long standing gag between ray and the "nerds".Personally i think its a very good show,easy on the ear,a kind of popcorn movie type.Just a bit of fun for your luchtime

I really like the show. Think this is the first time ive heard anything bad about it.

No more for at least another few months please.... They always descend into chaos.
