wrecked guitar? (Jackson Kelly KE3)

Changed the strings on my kelly yesterday - ended up with the floyd rose being about an inch off the fretboard, any string high on the fretboard becoming near impossible to play. Assumed it was because I accidently used 10gauge instead of 11.

So, changed for 11gauge today, and its even harder to play.
    Any ideas at all?

Floyd rose trems need to be balanced - ie the tension of the springs at the back must match the tension of the strings, so that the trem itself is perfectly level.

Any simple setup guide will show you how to do this.

Yeah, don't worry, nothing is wrecked. Read some of the guides on here: http://www.ibanezrules.com/tech/setup/index.htm

I know it's an Ibanez related site, but the setups relate to any floyd rose style trem.
