    Quick question.

    Can someone please help me on this. I'm looking for the Units of Power (W) in terms of Mass (m) Length (L) and Time (T).

    Even point me in the right direction. I've only got to Power = energy / time
    Thanks

    Corglass

    Ah, dimensional analysis

    OK, you're right so far

    Power = Energy / Time

    Energy has the dimensions of [Mass] * [Length]^2 /[Time]^2 (Take the formula for potential energy and convince yourself of this)

    So Power is [Mass] * [Length]^2 / [Time]^3
