Sounds good Connie, myself and the poker icon "His Sideshowness" will be there with bells on and will be requiring accomodations in the local hostelry. Cheers.

    Hi there,
About half way through now(23 left from starting 55), only Waterford player left is Nicky Power who is going well right now. I'll report back in a few mins with chip leaders and averages.

    55 runners @ €200= €11,000 prize-pool.

11 players left. Nicky is still there with the average stack.

6 left on FT. Average stack is 91k. blinds are 1k-2k with 200 ante. Nicky power is the only boardie left with just under the average. Could be a long night.

This game ended at 5.15am when the final 2 did a chop, Damien O callaghan from Killarney and Darren Synnott from Tralee(€2,850 each).

    Joint 1st--Damien o Callaghan
    Darren Synnott €2,850 eash.

    3rd--Eugene Curley €1,760

    4th--Timmy o sullivan(clonakilty) €1,000

    5th--John Corbert €880

    6th--Nicky Power €730

    7th--Donnacha Cournane €500

    8th--Ken Corkery €330

    9th--Mike Randles €220

7 players were to be payed but before final table started,a deal was struck to reward 8th and 9th.

On the Cue Clubs behalf, we'd like to thank all players, both local and those who travelled, for making this such an enjoyable tournament.
Our plan was to hold this tourney once a month with 10k starting stack and 30min blinds, but after the success of this one and all the positive feedback we recieveed, we're going to keep the 45min blind level for the future monthly deepstack tournaments, which will be on the 2nd Saturday of each month.Next one is Sat.November 10th.

    Thanks again
    Con O Sullivan.

Above says it all Connie. Seriously good structure and top class field. My first table included Derry, Buda, Pat Storan, Keith McInerney, John O'Sullivan, Ken Corkery and a very good Limerick player who's name I don't know. Lol, try making easy chips among that lot!
Owed my demise to a gutshot caller who "had the chips to call"
Glad to see you're keeping the same structure, this tournament is sure to be a huge success.

super game as ever Connie, took a bit to much advantage of the draught beer but I know i was shortest stack at FT but still had over 20bbs great TO SEE A €200 MONTHLY GETTING OVER the 50 runners and bucking the trend around the country. Really enjoyed the weekend and see you again soon
