Sky+ not recording Ireland AM

I just recently got Sky+ and I'm very happy with it. All recordings have worked fine, except for some reason Ireland AM. (Maybe SKY+ doesn't like the presenters!!!) It has recorded other TV3 programmes with no problems.

It's 3 hours long but there is plenty space left. It records the first minute before the programme begins and then it stops at the exact same spot just as the programme is starting. This has happened the three times that I have tried to record. The planner is showing it as having been successfully recorded. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? Cheers

Matters of taste aside, lets try for a fix here... :)

Its really odd, I've never heard of that occuring before.

There is the option of a manual recording. (Services > 7) Set one up and see if it records.

Have you tried recording something else at the same time? It is possible (a quick google) that the Sky+ box doesn't like to start recordings that start with the "...programmes start at 7:00am" banner, as the channel is not on air. Channels like BBC 3 and 4 overcome this, by starting at 6:58pm and actively update the search and scan banner. But on looking on TV3's EPG, Emmerdale is on before it, so that kinda nulls that solution.

    If I were a Sky+ box, I'd hate Mark Cagney too... :D

RetroEdit: This was post 9000. Ouch.

Happened to me before too with Ireland AM. Mate was on it and he asked me to record it for him. When I went to play it back, had the same problem as the OP.
