Please if there is anyone out there who can tell me if they know of where I can try get some biodegradable 0.20g bbs im not that big into girls with hairy armpits with non shaved legs or funny smelling smoke products. But im thinking that millions of small plastic pellets are not good for the enviroment.I know this as my wife is now going beserk about the small white pellets that are getting draged into the house from my fireing range in the garage behind closed doors no windows just in case anyone starts giving out.

If I remember correctly, Derek from MIA said he would stock them if there was enough interest. I've no idea of the cost though, but they are generally a little more expensive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe someone posted on this a good while ago and said that the bio-degradeable bb's are not 100% biodegradeable. I haven't checked the 'ingrediants' of the bio-bb's so I can't be sure. Does anyone know for sure?

They're not. The 90-day thing doesn't reflect reality. The rough rule of thumb is roughly one year vs. roughly five for 'standard' BBs.

I've gotten my hands on a new type of Biodegradable BB that is compacted starch (or some such) whilst maintaining quality and apparently it will degrade faster than other variants.

Biotech BBs. There's not many places stock them at the moment though.

    Here's info for you: biodegradable-bb.com

I think this is a really good idea. It was quite striking at Predator to see a veritable carpet of pellets. As that was my first airsoft outing I hadn't really thought much about the environmental impact of blasting BBs all over the place, but as I stood their in my loincloth a single tear rolled down my cheek.

But yeah, seriously, I'd buy them.

yup, he has them in stock at the moment, cant remember the exact price but they were reasonably expensive, he did say he will try and get them cheaper though

there is a lot of them and there is a new type out now that is faster at decomposing.

there is one issue someone on this board warned me about before though that you need to be aware of...they shatter. so a lot of people using the wire mesh masks run the risk of eye damage if hit on the mesh.

i cant remember who said that and i enver heard of it before but i have 2 bags of them i have not used as a result

The Bioval ones are the best, but not available from many retailers.
