SDRAM modules in airport screening

    Hi all,

I recently bought a couple of old SDRAM modules for my ancient computer at home in Hungary, and I have a question for those in the know: does the airport X-ray machine harm standalone modules? Experience tells that flash memory is not affected, but it's not the same. I have taken my laptop through these screenings many times without any problems afterwards, but those memory modules are built in the machine and therefore grounded, right? Bottom line: if I bring my memory modules through screening in anti-static bags, will I be OK?

    Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't have a problem with them.
