Hi,

I'm interested in submitting our site www.oddsfutures.com which is under development to the board for review and feedback. It's a realtime over round free Index "ready reckoner" for WIN and PLACE UK and Irish Racing.

Currently our forecasts only "go live" about 20 mins before the start of each race and we use the morning line prior to that time so dont bother checking it mid morning.

We're particularly interested in what people on here make of the PLACE market odds and price comparisons between the liquid exchange markets and ours which is operating at exactly 100% Win and 100% thereafter per place.

We've nothing to offer as an incentive but if you're keen on spotting value on the exchanges or with fixed odds providers the WholesaleOdds.com Index should be of assistance!

I'll dream up something to present to anyone who posts some feedback (neg or positive!) for us.

Hi Mab. No I'm just the moderator. I appreciate that your service is free etc.... butu it's a "one size fits all" rule that the Admins enforce. The admins are Ecksor, Devore, Cloud and Regi. PM them if you need clarification.

"Do you trade odds volatility?" - depends what you mean. What do you mean? Plain-vanilla trading?

"...realtime over-round-free Index 'ready reckoner' for WIN and PLACE UK and Irish Racing..." - I'm guessing what you mean is that the website publishes a theorectical fair-value based on betting markets. Is this correct?

If so, and taking into account the poll question, is it that your website has an algorithm of some sort that calculates fair-value based on the "volatility" of each participant's market data and strips it of over-round?

I'm not 100% sure understand what the site is about. Is it about producing forecast prices? If so, what makes it different to any other forecast price site?

I understand that you take out the over-round, but is that the sole purpose of the site?

Hi Danny2580, WB and Robin1982,

I appreciate that The front page for www.wholesaleodds.com hasn't contained any of the information.

Each of you is correct in your assumptions, yes we're applying some algorithms (to adjust for the favorite long shot bias).

I've endeavored to provide more info on the sites home page for the time being that might answer some of the ideas you've had about it. Largely the opportunity is in spotting value but also there is a difference in the sources of the data.

Our raw odds data (inclusive of overround) is direct from the on course bookies as opposed to the exchanges. As markets close in the last 10 minutes, the prices move closer, but not always!

We're also think of adding other bet types up there. E/w & without the fav...Do any of you bet in these markets in the exchanges would they be useful prices?
