Play.com/3v mess up

I've pre ordered a book on play.com using a 3v card. I got the confirmation email from Play saying that I had ordered the book but when I checked my 3V account history the full amount for the book hadn't been taken and only £1 had. Anyone able to tell me what's going on there?

They took out the £1 to verify your credit card, they will refund it. Play only charge you for a product when they ship it
