new (or old?) tv for Wii

    Hey guys,

I'm thinking of getting a wii. I know on the other 2 consoles you really need a HDTV, but what's the story with wii?

I heard somewhere that a standard old SDTV CRT tv would match the wii perfectly because they have good picture quality, and match the wii's output. I'm not technologically gifted though so I might have been lead astray!

What kinda tv's compliment the wii to help it look its best?

    Thanks

An standard TV will be fine, but an EDTV with component cables would get you the best from the Wii, but I wouldn't go too large with the screen...

I would only get a screen up to around 22 inches. Most likely around 20. That's not too large is it?

What are some models of EDTV's that I should check out?

I think that if you have a standard definition CRT tv, and use Nintendo's official RGB plug for the Wii, it should look the best that it can without upgrading to HDTV.

Correct me if I'm wrong? I may be confused.

It doesn't matter, Wii is fun as is :)

Heck, I've been playing for a week on HDTV over composite & I don't mind!
