Started a job in april and was promised a review after 3 months, now Im almost into the 6th month on crap money. He has mentioned that he would discuss this with me over this time, but nothing yet. Its like I'm doing 2 people's job and getting no sign of appreciation for anything I do.

P.s. I voted last option. How did you vote Elmo?

I much prefer weekly... Makes it easier to budget really.

    Fortnightly works for me.

When I was on a post-grad scholarship, I got twice-yearly lump sums. That was quite handy as I could decide what to do with my money for the year without having to wait for a bit more at the end of each month. Twould be a tad radical in the workplace though and I'd say many people wouldn't manage it very well.

So, I'd stick to the traditional monthly.

weekly is easier to budget for, especially if you're paying rent etc.

fortnightly is just as easy though

Monthly. Pay off the rent, bills, put money into saving, have €700 or €900 to live on for the month, or whatever.

When I did weekly, getting paid more than what I got now, I found it very hard to save. Dunno. Easier to budget when I know how much I have, I suppose.

I prefer monthly as all my bills are piad monthly. I just get my wages, subtract al lthe forthcoming bills (rent, esb, gas, broadband, car tax, car insurance etc) and then I know how much I have left so spend. I think I'd find it difficult to budget with weekly wages. Fortnightly would probably be ok though.

Monthly, for the aforementioned reasons with rent, bills + easier to save a monthly lump sum.

I put weekly but found fortnightly good so wouldn't mind fortnightly. But weekly is how I voted.

I think I should have asked this question first.
