    Have ai mac a year now anybody know any software that u can trans avi files to my 80g ipod :confused

    To play files on the ipod you will have to convert them from avi to an ipod compatible format first using something like Popcorn, QuickTime Pro, Visual Hub etc, then transfer them over.

    iSquint is another application that I've found that's really good for converting the videos. It's free and the video quality is very impressive when on normal settings.

    It imports all the videos to iTunes so it's easy to put them on your iPod.

    Hi Wayne1, i am a few weeks away from been a year with my imac. Anyway, isquint is great to use. Here is a video below on how to get videos from you tube to your ipod, hope this helps.
