I have found myself at 36 years of age in the most enchanting relationship with a beautiful Polish girl. While making love last Sunday night she asked me would I consider having a circumcision.

Initially I was quite taken aback but after discussing it at length I am quite excited about the idea of being circumcised and exploring sex like this.

Any women out there whose partners have had a circumcision while in relationship - any preferences before/after. I know of one cosmetic surgery provider in Galway offering this service.

Of course the decision is yours, but I wouldn't be any kind of fan of circumcision, certainly not to appease a current lover who might be gone in a months time or a years time. The facts are circumcision makes the penis head much less sensitive, which can be good news for the woman (only in terms of how long he's likely to last), but bad news for the man.

Also, from a womans perspective, if her lover has been circumcised she's lost the friction of his foreskins backwards and forewords movement as they're making love, which can only be a bad thing! As a woman who's made love to both, the uncircumcised man is much more pleasurable,;) so I'd say no, don't consider it!

The problem with, as you say; "exploring sex like this" is that there's no going back!:eek:

why would you consider? i would never ask a guy to go through that for me sex is more plesurble(excuse the spelling) for a guy with a foreskin(from what i have heard)then with out and it really only cosmetic! there ant nothing wrong with foreskins!

My Son was circumcised for medical reasons. The trauma and pain was heartbreaking for me and my wife. the thoughts of doing this to yourself to please your girlfriend seems crazy TBH

The foreskin protects your the glans, keeps it soft and sensitive for sex.

Imagine your circumcized lad rubbing up against your denims of a saturday night in a pub.

It will eventually get nice and callused, and you will lose that extra special sensitivity your poor foreskin is trying so hard to protect.

There are people all over the world wanting "foreskin restoration". Why would they want that? Because they realized that lopping a chunk of your nob off isn't a great idea. You should do some research on google which will give you the pros and cons.

Well based on what the aforementioned american said and other women that have brought it up, they all pretty much agreed with seahorse. They said that because of the sensitivity the sex was less frenetic and less irritating if it went on for a long time. That said one woman I know prefers it cut because she prefers more friction in that area. The other thing I heard from this admittedly small group was that cut men tended to be more likely to "fire" too soon and weren't as aware of approaching orgasm as men with intact foreskins. Possibly because the normal sensations present in the foreskin that trigger different stages of arousal are missing.

Apparently there exists a fetish around this. I do know a guy who had it done because of his (american) ex wifes preference, so similar to your story. He really regrets it and not because the marriage went south either. He told us that the feelings are a lot less and even masturbation is more difficult. He did say that for the first year after the op it wasn't too bad and the sensations where higher in some different ways, but slowly the sensations dropped off. Not so good. If you have a fully functioning one, keep it. If medically you need it done and there's no alternative then fine.

I'm surprised that everyone is against it. Maybe the OP has alot of foreskin! I feel I was born lucky then as I don't really have any for some reason but every girl I know (not every girl I know obviously as I don't bring it up as a topic in casual talk but I mean girls I've ever asked) thinks that foreskin that covers the glans when erect is frankly, absolutely gross. As do I actually. But that's only what I've encountered, maybe all the girls I haven't talked to love it or something....

Thats true - apparently it is causing a lot of distress in the farming community. Farmer marries wife. Wife takes half of family land that was past down through generations in the divorce = farmers afraid to marry as prenups are not recognised in Ireland so they cannot get protection.
