hey came across this site looking for guitar tuner, sometimes bit wary of buying of the net. Wondering has anyone used this site before and recommend it.

    www.strings.ie

Or if anyone can recommend another good site for buying guitar accessories

its not much cheaper than town tbh. unless they gave you a discount for buying in bulk or free postage i wouldnt bother.

I know yeah but dont really get a chance to get into town or any music shop, the prices seem relatively the same i know but just easier this way as might not get into town for few weeks and kinda need a tuner yesterday

www.thomann.de is a site I would recommend. I've bought from them before. great customer service and very quick delivery. prices are very good too.

I have used Stringsdirect.co.uk (many times) and lordofthestrings.com and I had no problems with either. Axesrus.com are good for components but their site is shocking. Just email them and ask for what you want.

The key thing is to shop around, and dont forget to include the cost of P&P.
There's no point buying something small from thomann if they charge you €15 for postage.

Yep....bought stuff recently. No problems....very quick delivery (about 2 or 3 days)

Might be a bit cheaper for things. Planet Wave leads are cheaper than my local music store.

bought the quiktune professor (tuner, chord finder and electronic pitch pipe) very good. Got it in three days, 19.50 for the tuner, 2.50 p&p

Good value as its good tuner and have seen pricey ones in shops that are not good.
