I have been thinking of using something to give me more energy before weight training. Unfortunately I have to do the weights in the evening around 7.30 or so. At that time all you really want to do is chill out but I have kept it going an will continue to do so.

The reason I am writing this is that I had a can of redbull last night and I have to say it helped alot, got through a much better session than the previous night..

I have been looking at this NO-Xplode stuff and am wondering will this help or is too much for a beginner only 7 weeks in???

I think it is probably not needed for a beginner tbh - it's really for guys have maximised everything else and need that extra edge.

Red Bull isnt really idea either as the high sugar content will lead to a crash during training.

Just get some carbs into you mate - bowl of brown pasta or rice or even porridge about an hour beforehand will give you plenty of slow release energy to get on with it.

Id add some protein to it and have maybe one or two cups of strong coffee , on the no front I started using vpx's no shotgun preworkout it's a little helper , if you want to try an no try it I’ve heard good things about no explode just because your only 6 weeks in doesn’t man it wont help you , but there other things you could consider instead I recently started taking universal nutrition’s storm it’s a createin supplement with an no in it , I tale it pre and post work out , I have to say I definitely get a kick out of it

Just remember whatever you take doesn’t matter , your still going to have to lift the weight ;)

    There's always sugar-free red bull.
