If you want the olympic weights and a top quality bench then pm/contact Mickk who is a member here and sells them at a good price.

Otherwise argos is usually the cheapest

Oly bars would be too wide for my room, the argos is a 5ft bar. Extra plates are cheap in argos too. 50-70kg is not a lot- dunno what your goals are, I cannot see myself ever benching more than 130kg and most cheaper benches could handle that- though the quality and reasssurance of a good bench could affect your performance.

I never bought a bench, brother had one, and I wouldnt have bothered getting one either, you can get a pretty good workout with free weights and a chinning bar, I have gymnastic rings now that go on my chinning bar- I am going to use these in future to work my chest rather than the bench, but I lift really just to maintain the little muscle I have put on and just to lose weight/fat.
