    is there any way to get online without using teh ethernet cable.???

    i have a netopia modem and usb wireless adapter for pc can i use that?

    any ideas ? thanx

    the ps3 has wireless built into it so there is no need to buy anything for it , just go into your settings and set it up.

    Yeah the PS3 has wireless networking in-built.

    You just have to change the settings in the Network Setup of the PS3 to wireless instead of wired. It should search for available networks once you do this.

    yeh it searches and can see my netopia modem but wen i try play online it says no ethernet cable connected.

    Then you haven't changed your network settings to wireless.
