Firefox wouldnt open.

    had firefox bt had to system restore my comp.downloaded firefox again but wont open.

    it appears to load but then nothing happens.
    doesnt even appear in app. in task manager.
    tried uninstall an reinstall but no good.
    safe mode no good 2 me either.

    ne ideas.
    not v comp literate.........

    Use the instructions here to delete your Firefox profile, restart the computer and then try to reinstall.

    i'm guessing here but after uninstalling there must be stuff lying about somewhere that hasn't been removed eg. C:\Documents and Settings\<<username>>\Application Data\Mozilla, directories like that. i'd uninstall again, then search the file system for references to firefox/mozilla and remove suspicious directories. then reinstall.
