Locate your local Club. Ask someone who plays or try Munster Rugby.ie
You will get a contact there. Give them a ring and finds out if they have a seconds or thirds team and find out when they train. (Normally Tuesday and Thursday) Turn up and give it a go.

Every junior club in ireland is always looking for players!

You would be surprised at the amount of lads down there who had not played before, or indeed have not played in a long time. I just joined a new club in south dublin and was stunned at the amount of lads who where coming down not having played before [or not having played in years]. Its a social game, so its no problem at all, they will be glad to have you :)
