    Anyone seen them at all?

    They've been stuck on BBC4 (of all places) so I don't suppose the ratings are that impressive... But in the States it has done really well on HBO, in fact I think HBO really really want them to do a second season.

    Just a brief synopsis: The show follows this New Zealand folk duo, Bret and Jermaine (which are their real names as well - they play a fictionalised version of their real-life stand-up act) as they try to crack the US from their poky flat in NYC. Their hapless manager, Murray, works at the NZ consulate, and their solitary fan is an creepily obsessive married woman called Mel. The whole thing is really whacky and off-the-wall, punctuated by some hilarious musical interludes.

    I think it's wicked, and a shame it hasn't been put somewhere a tad more watched than BBCFOUR. At least their stand-up special was on BBC3, here's one of the songs they've done:

    EDIT: And actually this is my favourite song of theirs, it's just awesome...

    Yeah they're brilliant. AFAIK they've signed for a second series already. There's been tonnes of threads on them already, just do a Google search as the main Boards.ie search doesn;
    't work.
