Looks good, I'd be pretty sure it could be put together cheaper.

A pm to a mod could make this a sticky pretty quickly I am sure?

    Ok,

Since the only thing I have ever seen that I could not explain was some white sparks of light pointed out to me by The Sandman I'm going to get a Radiation Moinitor, since radioactive objects somtimes emit white sparks of light seen in complete darkness this may be an explaination for what I saw.
Anyway I was thinking of this model.

    Bit pricy though

Well if you want to spread the cost then count me in.

I think it'd be funny to appear for a public investigation wearing those sometime, just for kicks. :D They'd have to come off after though, they're too bright for night ops, and would be reflected off the camera flash.

ok it all looks cool but what happens if one thing on it breaks or shuts down on investigation, you then have a load of stuff that cant work, then you have another pile of pc junk clogging up the that press that you only open to clean out.

sorry guys but stick to the basics, its much cheaper and you would probly get better results,, hahahahaha evp programs, jaysus next they will have a fart filter.the best way to listen to evp is raw and keep it raw.

(sorry gang in the horrors today)

I think you forgot to add "IMO" Danny, I have the basics and have used them. You have already dismissed the EVP program that I posted in another thread, without a response from me.
This seems to be some sort of combined comment from you on this equipment and the EVP methods that I have posted about,
however the posts were to generate discussion only

Harnessing the latest developments in technology and experimenting with them is a hobby I enjoy and share with others.

If you think that this is "hahaha" funny and not "the best way" that is only your opinion, and we all have one of them.

im not depiving your opinion, ive been doing this a long time and i can tell you long before google and all your gadgets ,ive been there so i think i know what im talking about my first investigation was 1989 when all you had was atari or commedore 64 all we had then was the basic ear ,what were you doing then, but all i can say is experience is all i have im not being bold but hey ou asked, there are 7 evp groups in ireland can you name me one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,952 ✭✭✭✭Stoner

I dont know of any groups that only deal only in EVP in Ireland.

BTW in 1989 Peter Stien first developed EVP make on the very C64 you mentioned.

I had my first computer in 1984 it was a spectrum 48K.

In 1989 I was in secondary school.

So am I to assume that because you went on an investation in 1989 that you can laugh at topics that I post about? and state that you know the best and the only way?
But I'd rather find things out for myself, and would appreciate not being laughed at in the process.

i didnt laugh at any thing you posted about,i respect your veiw but dont go down the road of of being sucked in to buying things that wont be worth a c--p to buy ,if you want to wast your money go ahead thats your choice,i can say this that you have to realise were im coming from ,,i dont like to see good, people wasting money on something that can break down after five investigations then you have nothing.

Danny you are being disrespectful and talking like you know it all. Attitudes like that make a lasting impression.

Danny I welcome meet ups :)
the link on EVP history does not work however I have completed some study on the subject and I am familiar with Jurgenson, Edison and Raudrive it was very interesting and has brought some new idea to my attention that we are going to use on our next investigation.

you cant ban me for thinking of others, thats the joys of paranormal, its called looking out for each other,,
i am very passionate about this subject, i live this 24/7 its called team work if you cant handle it well so long:mad::(

With ergards to equipment, anything can break down be it something new or some of the basics.

I think if someone has been using the basics for close to 20 years and has not produced any "proof" then ignoring new technologies is incredibly foolish. If people are genuinely believe that they have a fool proof setup then fair play to them but why then have any of these results/findings not been put forward to a scientific body to study them?

Though some people have (by pure luck) managed to capture what they believe to be EVP the fact remains that the mechanics of it all are still unknow.

If something doesn't work, move on and try something else.

If something does work, how does it work?

Don't stop trying new things until you can say without any doubt that you understand 100% what is going on and can prove it.

Forward thinking, enthusiastic people such as Stoner are the key to eventually understanding what exactly is happening.

I can't see how leaving boards would be a good thing Danny, the only way that stevenmu would have seen this is if he read it or if it was a reported post, I didn't report the post, I don't want people with your experience to leave the forum,
but I think you understand now what my issue was, as at no time did I get the feeling from your posts that you were "looking out for me" reading over them again and I still get a patronising feel from them.
However if you say that you were offering help then I accept it , thank you. :) I do not intend or did not intend to buy the Ghost PC, I just thought it was interesting for this forum, I saw the link for it in a different forum where it's reviews were not great, one guy got it and claimed that it was cheapy.

    Found this:
Evidence for millimeter-wave radiation associated with paranormal activity - Parapsychological Abstracts - Brief Article
Journal of Parapsychology, The, March, 2002 by Sally R. Feather

Certain photographs of the healer Matthew Manning appear to show diffraction rings (alternating light and dark circular bands) that could be ascribed to the emission of very high-frequency electromagnetic radiation in the microwave to far infra-red region of the spectrum. From well-established physical theory, the angular sizes of the rings indicate a wavelength in the millimetre range. These observations could have implications for research into the paranormal and for psychic healing in particular.
