    Hi Folks,
With all the talk of Carbon footprint and government Greener homes initiative, I decided to set up a web site to cater for the new EU legislation on energy rated homes. This new rating is called BER (Building Energy Rating) just like your fridge/cooker energy label. This will show how efficient you home is, with it's consumption of electricity and output of CO2. The concept is great, but I believe there are some how feel this needs more focus as currently all planning permissions that were applied for on or after 1st January 2007 will require a BER cert. I know some auctioneers that are not even aware of this???
Anyway I have set up a site with a colleague to help all of us have all the info in one place. From BER assessors to suppliers of all types of renewable energies. Hope you can find some useful information on the site:-)

    Best Regards,
    Michael

Possibly a good resource but blatant commercial advertising is possibly a banning offence

Thanks GG66. I take your point:-)
I wanted to be honest. I could have said like most would " That I happened to cross this site with lots of useful info and I am just sharing the findings"

    Regards,
    Michael
