AEG Batteries

    Battery mini type. 8.4 v. Where o where. Lads where will I get one of these batts for my g36c AEG. BFSL are out of stock and Eirsoft.ie are too.


    I really need one asap. Dont want to go ebay route. Any shops sell these type of batts.

    I know you mentioned you didn't want to go down the ebay route but there are ebay stores that stock them in the UK. Try Component-Shop from the UK or if you want to cash in the Dollar exchange rates there is EEE4U from the US. Of course you can try the traditional Airsoft stores in the UK.

    Someone mentioned before that the batteries and connectors were similar or the same
    as the ones they use on some Radio Controled Model Cars.
    Maybe if you find a local shop that sells that kind of gear and it will
    be compatible. (Or a quick trip to maplin and buy your cells and connectors
    and make your own)

    I Work next door to maplins and went yesterday couldnt see them anywhere. I browsed their site aswel and couldnt find any...


    Also landwarrior.com say that the polarity on Batts for RC cars is different to that on AEGs and should not be used. ...

    I ordered some stuff from landwarrior. cost me 97 euro is that expensive?

    I got 2 gas bottles

    6000 high quality bb's

    1 1400mah batt +charger

    not too bad considering shipping was probably about 30-40euro i assume?

    maplin on jervis street had 7.2v large type batteries the other day when i was in there, there was also a price tag for a 8.4v large, but none on display

    Shipping and vat was 25 euro in ttl.
