Timing Belt due (Octavia)

    Hi Folks,
    My 1.6 Petrol Octavia is due a timing belt change (and all the other things that should go with it).

    I am based in Cork and I have currently received two quotes:
    1. Jerry Collins Motors - around 550 - 600 euro
    2. Advanced Pitstop - around 260 (so they tell me!)

    Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who will do the job for around the given price range above? (In the cork area)

    well i have to say that sean hanleys out by the lough have never done me wrong.
    my 9 yr old megan would have been put out to pasture a long time ago only for them.
