just wondering if anybody knows if theres any gyms between Naas and Rathcoole - looking for a gym thats not too far off the beaten track from the N7 - know about City West. Thought a new gym had opened in the Kill area a year or so ago.....does anybody know?? Then I seen a poster for a place in Rathcoole, think it might have been called Benefitness or something like that....Anybody know anything about that place??? In one of Ben Dunnes gyms at the mo, but changing job, so locations not really suitable anymore...

Yeah there is one in Kill, have never seen it or heard anything about it, not much help, but it is there!
Naas being a bigger town would probably be the best bet

There are a few to choose from in Naas. Naas Health and Fitness being my choice having tried a few and gone back to it, for pure size, good equipment choice, cleanliness and convenience, as well as having a great choice of classes, and it is just off the motorway. Where are you based ?

Thanks for info, I'm living in Monasterevin but will be working in Rathcoole, wanted to get to the gym in the morning before work so wanted to get as close to Rathcoole as possible. Know the one in Naas you're talking about, have a friend who is a member and have gone on her guest pass a few times so maybe that might be the best bet all round - Thanks for tips!!!

Na, no reasons against City West, just wanted to see if I had any other options - Will more than likely end up at City West, have just been comparing City West and the one in Naas, City West seems to have a bigger selection of classes, but other than that, they're much of a muchness - Ta mucho for tips....

I've also been a member in NH & F for a few years and I have no complaints.

Possibly a bit off topic, but Naas->Rathcoole is generally quite quick in the mornings (it's after Rathcoole that the problems start :) )

    Hi
I moved into Rathcoole back in May and I work in Citywest campus. I joined Benefitness in Eaton Rathcoole in September and I love it. It's a small gym with no pool but it has a steam room, sauna, sun bed plus the special womens only "easytone tone" studio. The attention the staff pay to you is fantastic, I pretty much have my own personal trainer. I have lost half a stone from a personalised program in only 3 weeks. I have never done that well in a gym before. The staff are lovely and are all female, the manager is Aishling and she really knows her stuff plus is so nice. So far there seems to be more female than male members & the facilities are so clean and comfortable. I 100% recommend this gym, it is slightly higher than most gyms, I pay €69 a month for both the main gym and easytone, but completely worth it. There is no designated parking but there is always parking on the main street, you have to pay between 8am-6pm mon-fri but its free from 6pm and all day sat. The gym opens 7am-9pm mon-fri, 9am-5pm sat and closed sunday and bank hols. Need to know anything else let me know :o)

    hey,
thanks for all the helpfull info on the Benefitness gym; was all looking so promising til I got to the end and you told me of the opening hours - 7am weekdays, unfortunately I'd need to be hitting the gym for 6 - 6.30am - was looking such a certainty before that - looks like it'll probably be City West for me - thanks for all info everybody.
