    Folks,

Was out today in Royal Tara only on the yellow 9 twice as there was a ladies international on the main course.

anyway i broke the shaft of my pitching wedge!! the follow through went straight into a tree! ( I did get the ball on the green :) )

anyone know anywhere i can get it re shafted (steel) ? either in Navan or in around the IFSC? would it be cheaper to buy a new one?

    cheers,

    joxer

Your local pro should be able to sort it out. I think its Adam whiston is the guy

Failing that Nigel Howley in Balbriggan GC does re-shafting.

    Cheers Graeme,

I was up there last night - they told me that I can get it done up in Headford.

Was also told that i can get it replaced up in Plus Four Golf in Phibsborough.

Plus 4 is alright Graeme, a son of one of the members in my club owns it.
Sometimes he has good stuff in, but the place is a real old school dig in and have a look to find a bargain type of place, a bit musty aswell.

Last time I was there was a few years ago though, it could have improved or the opposite:D

Got my club back from Plus Four - new shaft for €15. :)
Also bought a 21 degree rescue for €25.

Gettin out on sat in ballymascanlon on sun morning give them a good test.

I'm guessing the shop hasn't improved (it's more like a shed) but it's still a good old shop with a couple of old guys fixing clubs and very both very helpful, no airs and graces or snootyness you get in the bigger shops.

    Recommended.
