leaving cert holiday 08

about 12 of us are hoping to go foreign after our leaving cert this year, so can anyone tell me where a good place to go would be??

It would need....
:cool: The euro currency
:cool: A really lively night life
:cool: Access to a beach in walking distance
:cool: Afforable for students

If none of the above match a hol that you were on could you tell me please so i can cross it off my possibilities list?? Thank you!!!

Puerto del Carmen- Lanzarote
Praia de Luz etc etc in Portugal- most portugese resorts have a lively nightlife (presuming ye want night clubs/pubs etc etc) barre Alvor which is more family orientated

The advantage of Portugal is you can get it much cheaper than travel agent by booking apartments and flights seperate- Ryanair fly from Shannon and Dublin to faro

i would recommend tenerife, i went there with the girls after our leaving cert and it was the best fun, everything is on your doorstop i.e. pubs and clubs and beach isnt far. there is also an irish pub over there called the dubliner, ended up there every night!!!

Keep it Greek, go to Crete, by far the new Ibiza of the 00's.

Half a dozen Irish bars to keep ya going!
