Have a white nuetered female cat about 2 years old who has gone missing for the past 3 days. Really worried about her. Do cats do this when the weather gets cold? Should i be worried. She usually comes home when i get home from work in the evenings but no sign of her lately and she has not come back for her food.

You should be worried. Sometimes females get lost when males keep harassing them but this doesn't happen when the female is neutered.

Have got currently 12 cats. neutered and non neutered
Some go missing sometimes and they
eventually return. Its always worrying when a cat goes missing for a number
of days as its not normal behaviour for them but dont think the worst.

Have fed all the neighbour hood strays and feral cats for years.
Have had cats go missing for weeks and sometimes months only to return
or to be spotted all well and good.

COming into the winter we have had one cat "toys" return as he knows
its getting cold and wants "in" at night.
