    itunes rips my cds to this format how do i make my creative zen micro play this file or how do I convert this to a playable format?

    You could just change the format that itunes imports the tracks to suit the zen... less steps!

    > prefs (options or something if you are a PC user, cant remember offhand) > advanced > importing (tab)

    thanks but the problem is i already have like 500songs in the .m4a format and id really like them on my zen. is there a solution for these songs that isnt to search out my cds again?

    Change the settings like stated above, then highlight all the songs you have in that format (you can make this easier by sorting them by filetype) then right-click and select the option that converts them to the file you have already selected in the options. Make sense?
