just wondering if AIB laser cards are meant to have the 3 or 4 digit code on the back??

Mine has none. thought the code was only on credit cards?

You mean the CVV code - only on cc cards, not Laser

Well, actually - this is not entirely correct. Some Laser/Maestro do have it, but apparently AIB's don't

My AIB Laser issued last week doesn't. Just FYI and to add to the certainty :)

could it possibly be the last three digits from the card number?
    mine (maestro) is 6+6+7 digits
that would equate nicely as 4x4 + 3

my plain laser (cirrus) ptsb card is 4x4 digits with no 3 digit number on the back.

No, the last 3 digits aren't equal to the CV2.
