Yes, but only because a load of irish bought tickets expecting us to be there. Frecnh never travel well really and NZ obviously wont have a huge support so you could probaly get tickets for peoplel ike the OP who have now decided to get off th band wagon and are now back too not liking rugby.

    Wishful thinking.

I'm wearing my Munster jersey.. when all else fails.. and when things are not going well.. I stuff it up my jumper.

Besides.. Im sure Howlett will see me in the crowd and get a warm welcomming feeling.

myself and three friends have rented a camper van to go because there wasnt a bed to be found in cardiff with all the irish planning the trip over. id say we'd have our pick now! cant wait though. france v new zealand in a rugby world cup q/final. i think if you want the perfect rugby match you'd want those two teams in it.

I'm still going to the match. Ferry sat back sun staying in Swansea (friends there and a great night out). What kind of money is it to rent a camper for the weekend out of curiousity?

i'd definetly go if i had a ticket. its going to be an awesome match! wish i had a ticket

    Je les voudrais!

Not really though. Who'd a thought it 3 weeks ago that we'd be wanting rid of tickets to Cardiff? Well, besides the slight chance of a quarter in Paris...

Im more inclined to go. Whens the next time I'll get to see France against the All Blacks live?
With the way Ireland were playing Im almost relieved we didnt get through. Almost.

Cardiff is a bit far for me, so I'm off to Marseilles on Sunday, just two hours up the motorway. :D

2 of us heading over, should be a good game, 1 of our crew pulled out so 2 going with 3 tickets, will have to try and offload 1 over there

Decided last night it would be a great idea to go see that game (being French and all...) so started looking into it at around 9PM... 16 hours later, had the flights (to Bristol), car rental, match tickets and accomodation sorted for 4 people! Cost per person: €329 EUR!

    Result!

Thanks to TomMc (and Boards.ie!) for sorting me out with 4 great tickets!!! :D

There is accommodation available at the travelodge in St. Clears, Carmarthen. Its just over an hour outside Cardiff in the direction of the ferry. Would leave only a 40 min spin to the ferry. Got a family room (3 adults but will squeeze in four) for €60 euro. Were going to go out in Swansea after the match and head to the travellodge after.
