Mc afee update

    Hey folks,

    i have had a problem with mc afee once or twice where when i right clicked and pressed update it would search and find the network but never come up with the spinning update arrow!

    I done a mcafee scan and a skybot scan and nothing helped or came up in them!Uninstalled mcafee and reinstalled the dell version and still nothing!

    i havent been on major dodgy sites of leaving an open firewall,but this has happened a few times!The only way it seems i can fix it is system restore and that takes up to 2 hours with updates and reinstalling programmers!

    Can anyone one shed any light on it please?i checked the net and mcafees site and got nothing :( .

    How old is it? Like, when did you get the Dell machine?

    Got the dell machine in october of last year and the mcafee is finished in december of this year.
