I used to get into Mos Def a few years back but havent been listening to him for awhile (apart from the odd song on my ipod). Would love to go see him live.

Gig was jammers. As all sold out village gigs it was way too packed. Luckily I was upstairs where it was a bit more bearable. The prick was two hours late. He then fumbled his way through a less than average show. To top it off he did a few karaoke tracks, I'm not kidding. He rapped along with some other tunes the DJ played, his vocals over the pre-recorded vocals on the track. Pure sucker ****. I pity anyone who spent 30 blips on this.

I always thought he was a bit of wanker.

    Should stick to the acting.

I'm really glad that I gave this gig a miss after reading that ^^^

Mos Def hasn't released anything even remotely worthwhile in 8 years. Orizio is right, he should stick to acting.

    Well i foolishly went along..

Got there with time to spare to stand up by the stage ( big mistake) two hours later i was still in the same squished position getting fed up of the stupid background music being looped over and over..

then mr. smith nicely trots onto the stage with hat, coat and bag still on ( me thinks he's only just arrived!) he blames it on a PLUG?? that had gone missing.. eh yah.

so basically he fumbled his way thru a few bad songs, then mimed over the dj's tracks for the rest. i followed peoples leads n left n went to eddie rockets. plain awful, wont be going to another gig organised by that crowd again i dont think!!

The morons did have problems with a 110v power supply. He only showed up at the venue 15 m ins before he went on stage. My sister met him when he pulled up outside in a taxi. At least he didn't pull a KRS, that guy is a total prick

I stupidly went to this gig, also very disapointed and was one of the worst gigs Ive been to. Not at all what I expected and didnt think he performed well, ANd he was so late it was ridiculous!
