On the front page of the Irish Times today, there's an article about a survey that the paper carried out.

"A total of 65 per cent of women rank financial independence as a very important item in their lives, followed by personal care such as skin or hair (57 per cent) and female friends (54 per cent)."

Do more women *really* value skincare and haircare than their friends???

Well, one just doesn't *have* friends, darling, if one's skin and hair isn't perfect. </flips hair>

For financial independence read sponging off a rich bloke.

CJT has a point. Women do expect men to pick up their tab.

    You know it's true ladies.

Hence the worries about good skin and hair, gotta be a looker to get the rich men.

The survey givers really should have clarified the meaning of "financial independence" to the women...:p

AFAIK politics was rated last by women.

Yet feminists will still moan about women being under-represented in the Dáil... hmmm...

How many 'feminists' are there tho? I know plenty of so-called 'feminists' who talk the talk but still expect doors to be opened, tabs to be picked up and shopping to be carried to the car.

I notice that the women have stopped posting their comments.

Some women should stop expecting an award for being self sufficient.

Prime example being Beyonce Somethingorother, writes a song about the fact that she buys her own shoes and so forth.

    whoop-de-fúckin-doo.

Ya won't hear a male writing a song about how empowered he feels because he buys his own sh1t. :p

That's because any man worth his salt sends his woman shopping for him.

How many 'feminists' does it take to change a lightbulb?

One, but they secretly wish they had a man to do it for them.
