Sore throat

Hope someone can advise.... For about 6 months of the year ie. autumn, winter I have a sore throat. I am in an air conditioned office and have been on anti-biotics three times this year so far with a dose of steroids after a bad chest infection in June....

I am curious if there is something I can add to my diet to prevent these infections. I know the AC plays a big part and its not an option to turn it off. I walk approx 30 mins today and each lots of veg so my diet is not bad as such....

Any ideas how I can prevent another winter of sore throats???

Has your doctor not investigated this further, e.g. tonsilitis? It sounds extraordinary to have a sore throat for six months in the year, especially if you're put on antibiotics every time..

I find that Vic's first defence stuff is good, I use it on my hands and would put a bit around my nostrils too. It might be a fluke but I haven't had a sore throat or anything like that since Feb and I usually pick up that sort of thing quite easily.
