Does anyone know anyone who does it?

My monitor was working perfect last night
Today the screen was very dull/blurry, after trying another jamma board, I Had to adjust the vhold a little, I accidently turned the hhold which usually results in a high pitch sound and no picture until you turn it back but now it just stays black, if you turn it off and back on now it sounds like its coming on and the screen flashes but then black with no picture
when you turn it off it flashes as usual and zips down to the dot in the center
What could be wrong with it?

    Its an electrohome g19-aeo 26"

    Hey there,
if you are looking for an Arcade monitor repair you can try these guys in Belfast:
    http://www.amusementsales.co.uk/

These days they don't work on CRT monitors that often but if you ask nicely (like I did!) they will be happy to help you out. I'm not sure about pricing - it all depends on the problem but by the sounds of things it is a minor fault with the chassis.

If you are looking for technical advice on Monitors and all things arcade try here:
    http://www.jammaplus.co.uk/

....and more specifically it's Tech, Maintenance & Repairs section and "Working on Monitors..." thread.

Arcade monitors can hold voltages in tens of thousands and are killers. If you are inexperienced my advice would be to read up on the aforementioned thread and approach with great caution. Personally, I stop at altering the V-Hold, H-hold, contrast etc. I'd much rather leave it up to experienced techies who know what they are doing!

    Hope that helps.
