Brilliant more opportunity for local sligo franchises to move in - whoop! Did they specify why?

They didn't say, it was just an article about BK shutting down and they said that people thought Easons were moving in (do they read boards?) So they contacted Easons and were told that they had no plans to move to Sligo for the foreseeable future.

id say its the post who read boards despretely looking for something to write about rather that picturing underage people in envy, toffs and the like

That's typical. Another opportunity for Carrick on Shannon.

That's bad for sligo, if you want something good and quick easons will have it for you where as other shops actually order through easons

At least those stupid rumours may be laid to rest. Next one to kill-M&S are moving into Woods!!!! OMFG it must be true cause everyone at the post office said it!!11!! *Ahem* its a terrible spot for a supermarket and I don't believe for one minute they will move into any premises in the town centre, if they ever decide to set up shop in Sligo.

Centra is doing pretty well across from it!?!

As for Bookshops. We have some pretty decent bookshops in Sligo.
Easons would be an addition but it's not the end of the world.
