AFAIK it can't be more than 7 inches in height. Not 100% though

AFAIK, it can't be down into the path of the wipers. They'll fail you on the NCT if it is.

Thats what I was going to say - and since most wipers go to just about the top of the windscreen, it doesn't leave you much room to play with.

Might just have to get Jason and Jacinta printed in really small writing :D

Or something cool like "TURBO"...on a nissan micra :D

I think you're allowed go as low as your sun visor goes.

    :D:D:D

The NCT requires 290mm vertical strip centred on the steering wheel to be clear and free from defects up as far as the wiper line. You'd probably be ok with a tinted strip but an opaque strip can't cross the wiper line. Whether this is the same as law though is another question.

Right still confused to what it is but get the idea! It'll just be a nice simple black one with 206 in small writing written in the corner!

I dont understand the need to get your make of car on the sun visor. I can see it's a ****ty Civic already

Exactly the reason he needs to get 206 printed on the windscreen!

Just failed the nct in my ford focus ,on the sun strip on the windscreen. I questioned all the queries i have seen on here but no luck.....It is official that you WILL FAIL THE NCT IF THE WIPERS GO INTO THE SUNSTRIP AREA....Bad times, now how do i get the sunstrip off before the retest???/////

Please don't suddenly wake up a thread that's been asleep since 2007, it's very rude
