What did you all think of the star wars special?
I thought it was better than the robot chicken one. Was a bit too much in places though but some of the scenes where very funny.

I really, really liked it. wasn't at all expecting it and though there were some jokes I didn't get I thought it was a great way to start the new series.

thought the ending was hilarious with them slagging off robot chicken,it was cool that they actually brought it up that they just copied the same idea

No, its not that the DVD's are 1 season ahead, they go ahead by one every season.

Season 1-3 Are the same US & Eire

Season 4 US = SEasons 5 + 6 Eire

Season 5 US = Seasons 7 + 8 Eire

So the episode your talking about will be the first episode on season 9 DVD (Eire)

they did make a rite balls of the dvd sets:

season 4/5 dvd sets make up the whole of season 4
season 6 dvd set makes up about 2/3s of season 5 (thats 13/18, and apparently it also contains the 3 episodes that make up the movie, albeit in censored TV form)

so presumably when season 7 arrives it will contain the last bit of season five and the first few eps of season 6, meaning the season 7 dvd should have this episode on it.

*phew* it took me a while to figure this all out and it still wrecks my head that they label the dvds incorrectly.
to make matters worse the first few eps of season 6 (that are airing now in states) were originally meant to be season 5 eps but for sum reason s5 was cut to 18eps but its easier to classify them as season 6 as thats how theyre being aired

p.s. blue harvest: ok episode, was pretty dissapointed

I think it's because they're rushing the DVD releases out, as thats where they're making the most money with it.
