    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any Firewire(or USB) mixer which would allow multiple track recording(as opposed to stereo O/P via Firewire/USB).
I'm familiar with the Mackie Onyx 1620/40 but was thinking about something a bit cheaper...!!!

    Cheers

Does it HAVE to have a mixer component?

Alesis do a fair few firewire models

If you want something a bit cheaper and not as good, Behringer do USB mixers

Just re-reading, a USB mixer wont allow individual track mixing. You'll get stereo out, that's it in most cases.

yeah,I was looking at the Alesis ones.
i didn't actually know that about USB,so we're really looking at firewire.
