MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.3

    Hey guys,

Bit of an odd one here...

When I got this current MBP about a month ago and copied over my system I did a full system update all the usual stuff... Anyway I just ran a software update there which asked me to run the MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.3.

First odd thing is, Im sure I have done this already. This update is dated July and Im positive I ran it a month ago with all the rest. Anyway, I decided I'd go again just in case so selected the update and followed the usual instructions of shutdown, hold the power button until the indicator flashes repeatedly and all that... BUT when I do that I get this horrible scary BEEEEP and then no status bar for the firmware update appears, nothing happens at all, the machine ust boots as normal and keeps giving me the 'run the update' dialog on startup.

So I just quited out of it eventually, just got sick of trying to run it. I have been reading that in July lots of ppl had hassle with this one.. Im thinking I might just forget it altogether... cept its graphics related... urgh... dunno.

Any thoughts? Its not very important, but it will bug me. :)
