What quality cable are you using? Surely there must be some signal, even if it's poor -- it's only 20 m.

Are you also using a device to relay commands to the digibox through the cable, such as a TV link?

Try using just the long cable (no short cable or booster) just to see if anything's getting through that. If no signal is coming through there may be a break in the cable (as ethernet said, there should be some kind of signal). If the signal IS getting through then maybe the booster itself is broken.

Is it just the RF output from the box that should be coming through or are there other signals that you're expecting to see (eg, signals from an aerial coming through the box as well, or analogue cable)?

Not sure if you have tried tuning it in properly to the other tv...I would suggest removing the cable from the roll, and you should need any form of booster to enable you to view it on your tv upstairs. Make sure the center braid is not connecting with the center core of the calbling. Make sure you come out of the tuner marked rf2...and enable the power for use with a magic eye.

Thank you all for you imput

    Have it working now

The signal was working fine when i did a direct connection from Box to second TV

Then the problem turned out to be the magic Eye was not getting any power to the RF Connection on the box

Redid the connection ends and made sure that the outer wire case was making contact with the connectors properly as this is where the 9v circuit needs to be made to get the magic eye working

    All is good now:D :D:D:D

The eye (or TVLink) allows you to control your Skybox from another room, once cabled correctly from RF2 output on rear of Skybox.
