it'll be 80's style dressing. not formal. the formal events are clubs and socs ball, casino ball, celtic ball and clubs and socs awards. (any formal events will be advertised as formal)

Everything in DCU that involves more than 3 people + alcohol is labelled a 'ball'. As others said, formal ones are clearly marked as formal...
