    Hi all,

We're into our last week of registration now (well almost) and we have four satellites coming up.

The first is on Sunday 23rd September at 8pm and costs $20+$2 to enter (as do all the satellites).

15 minute clock and 2,500 starting chips. Hope to see all of you there as it would be great to get a really good turnout for it.

Play on Mermaid Poker, its great :)

you really should consider getting a bank of laptops to the rds for signing people up on the day; and forget about that bulls hit about not having X amount of cash on the day as its against the law

I agree with nic here. I think closing the entry 6 days before the tourney starts completely goes against the Irish nature of leaving everything to the last minute and will only seriously limit the potential player numbers.

I understand fully the reasons behind the sign-up date cut-off but there has to be some alternative.

Sorry lads we won't have any laptops there on the day on order to take cash on the day.

Anybody that registers now can unregister at any time by simply contacting stephen@pokerireland.ie or 087 24 24 626 so there really is no excuse for not registering now.

Nicky you're too smart for me so I don't really want to reply but if we advertise this tournament as a cash on the day jobby we could get ourselves in legal trouble. We can't ignore the advice we have received, and paid for, from some of the experts in this area.

Why should some players be allowed to pay on the day when the vast majority will go to the effort and have gone to the effort well in advance of the tournament? Its not going to be one rule for some but not for everyone.

Play on Mermaid, give it a go, its great.
