    €6.50 SNG on Stars

    Button (t5120)
    SB (t12405)
    Hero (t9475)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Ts,Th.
Button raises to t5070, SB raises to t9340, Hero ?

We've been 3-handed for about 10 - 12 hands now. Most of the hands have gone raise preflop, fold, fold. I can't remember a hand that actually saw a flop. SB is a all in or fold preflop player for the most part, fairly tight. Button is a bit more passive, but not loose by any means.

    Payouts are standard 18-man SNG. 1st gets 40%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%, 4th 10%.

    What's your line?

What they said. If you're behind here it's just bad luck, but more often than not you'll be a favourite (not necessarily a huge favourite)

    Blinds?

I don't think this is a snap call anyway. You're going to be going to a flop all-in and three handed. Best case scenario, you're ahead (44%) to overcards and an underpair. So you're getting favourable odds to call, but it's def not instacall.

    I'd prob make it, reluctantly.

    Blinds are 400/800

surprised people think it's a insta-call, seemed very marginal to me when it came up.

He open-raised 6x bbs? Has this been usual behaviour from him? What sort of range do you put him on?

And yes, it's far closer to a marginal than a snap decision imo.

Hmm true. Didn't realise that his raise was a push. Yeah, that changes things. I'd always be calling this considering (though after a few seconds thought). I stand corrected.

you guys read the hand? The Button is Shoving, SB is overshoving us practically all-in afterbeing fairly tight for the duration of the sng, you really think he's overshoving with a wide enough range to make this an easy call?

with 15BBs he isn't going to wait around for premium hands.

The button has a massive range, Ax, Kx, sc, sgc etc. at this stage. The sb should realise this and the overshove makes me think he's protecting a hand that isn't JJ, QQ, KK, AA.
