Photoshop Levels - 'new' trick

    you may have already known this but I thought it was fairly useful.
    When adjusting the levels, hold down the "alt" key first then start to move the white/black point, it will show you any clipping that will occur, try it and see.

    Thats a really useful tip alright. You'd be surprisd where you can do similar things.

    If you Alt click on a layer mask for example it is shown on the full image.
    Also if you're in camera RAW, go to 100% zoom and hold alt while playing with the various sliders to see the effect it causes on channels etc.
