It's like a high pitched clicking noise. Anybody else notice it?

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday. I thought something was wrong with my telly.

It's been happening since they changed the set and title music. I meant to post about it ages ago but never got around to it. It's part of the music but it's really annoying. When I heard it first I thought it was just my old telly playing up.

Is it to wake up slumbering viewers?

    LOL. Possibly!

The damn clicking noise coupled with poor reception leads to myself being unable to make out what they are saying at times..

    Yes.

If you are very attentive you will hear a sound every ten minutes or so like the double bleep of a wrist watch alarm.

This is in fact the signal to activate the mind-control implants we received that day the class all went up to Dublin on the bus.
Hence we* continue to tolerate Ryan Tubridy, regard Pat Kenny as an institution and send all our doughnuts to Mary Harney.

Yeah, I got that last week too. Pressed mute and wondered what the heck sound it was as there's no wrist watch type alarm in the house. But then realised it was on the broadcast. Strange.
